After the release of Jailer, the next good slot for Tamil cinema would be the August 24-25 slot which has the Onam holidays and Raksha Bandhan too. And now, six films from Tamil cinema are already planning to hit the screens on the date.
GV Prakash’s Adiyae, Aadhi’s Partner, Harkara, Kick, Thudikkum Karangal and Red Sandal are currently looking at the date. Apart from Tamil films, there are loads of other films from other industries such as King of Kotha from Malayalam along with Boss and Co, RDX and Achanoru Vazha Vechu. There are two films from Telugu, one film from Kannada and Hindi as well. The specific weekend is going to be one of the busiest ever this year!
