In a recent press meet, veteran actor-director T Rajendhar, has spoken highly of his son Silambarasan TR’s growth in the industry over the past few years. “Maanaadu has turned out to be a big blockbuster, and then we had VTK which got good reviews and great appreciation for his performance. Next is Pathu Thala, and then I have no limit for the thanks I am sending to Kamal sir and Mahendran for them coming forward to produce STR48. It will be STR’s most expensive film in his career.”
STR48 is set to be directed by Desingh Periyasamy of Kannum Kannum Kollaiadithaal fame. The film will start rolling by June this year, and STR is said to be taking up extensive training in martial arts for this project.
