In one of his interviews before the release of Thank You, actor Naga Chaitanya has revealed that he was initially supposed to the remake of Maanaadu, but it has now gone to Rana Daggubati who will be reprising the role played by Silambarasan TR.
The film is likely to go on floors only after the shoot of NC22 directed by Venkat Prabhu. The director will be overseeing the process for the script of the film, though the call on whether he will direct the film is yet to be taken by him. More updates on this later.
