Fresh from the blockbuster success of Aan Paavam Pollathathu, actor Rio Raj is now gearing up for his next project, tentatively referred to as Rio 06 and officially titled Ram in Leela. The film is set to be bankrolled by Trident Arts as their 20th production venture, in association with Eywa Entertainment, marking a notable milestone for the banner.
Ram Leela also introduces Vartika as the female lead, making her debut in Tamil cinema. The film is directed by newcomer Ramachandrran Kannan, and the first look suggests a lively family entertainer with a rom-com flavor set against a pet-centric (dog-cat) backdrop, backed by a promising technical and artistic team.
The cast also includes Chetan, Malavika Avinash, and several others in supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by Ankit Kannan, while Mallika Arjun handles the cinematography, further hinting at a vibrant and feel-good narrative.
