Over the past few weeks, there have been some talk on social media about Pooja Hegde’s role in Retro, and how she could be playing a mute character in the film. But in a recent promotional material from the film, which includes a comic strip, the team has cleared some confusions as it showcases how the actress was chosen for the film and also went on to dub for herself for this particular role.
This will be the first time that Pooja is dubbing for herself in a Tamil film, as she has majorly worked on films where she has not dubbed for her character. Retro features Suriya in the lead role and is directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film is hitting the screens on the 1st of May.
