Pa. Ranjith’s Thangalaan is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films in Tamil cinema’s lineup, and the director is very confident on his product coming up this year. Speaking about the film, he said “We have shot for more than 105 days on the project, and now close to 20 days of shoot is pending. The film shows us the lives of the people who lived before the formation of KGF, and the problems that they faced. Chiyaan’s dedication for this project was huge, he did not hesitate to lose his weight and waited 7 months for the film.”

Thangalaan was supposed to resume with its shoot in early May, but Chiyaan Vikram’s rib injury has delayed the shoot. The film will resume very soon, and will get done with its shoot before the end of June. After the wrap, the makers will take a call on the release date for the film.
