At the audio launch of Viruman, Karthi spoke widely about Viruman and the fact that the film in itself is an ode to Madurai. This is also the reason why the team planned to have the function there.
Karthi said “In Viruman, my father is my biggest villain. Who better than Prakash Raj sir to play the character. It was such a blessing to work with him. I also got the opportunity to work with actress Vadivukkarasi, with whom I wanted to share the screen for a long time.”
