It is indeed a huge honor for actor Suriya, as he has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as the Oscar organizer. Suriya has been offered a membership after his films in Soorarai Pottru and Jai Bhim have been noticed by the Academy.
If Suriya does accept the invitation, he will be getting into the process to be a part of the jury at the Academy. Suriya is one out of only two actors from India who have received the invite – Kajol being the other.
